During the summer I read an excellent biography on President Andrew Jackson.  I now know such more about his life.  I know his personality. his tendencies and his world view.   I understand more clearly who this man is, even though he has been dead for 150 years.

The Bible is a biography of God, that reveals to us a personality, a character, tendencies, trends and expected responses from God.   The Bible reveals a specific God, and his very unique personality.   And this is all about a God who is real, alive and active in the lives of mankind.

The Bible is an avenue for a relationship.
