I am very excited about a merge of two churches in north Nashville that was announced on Sunday. Living to Go Church in Hendersonville in Goodlettsville, TN led by Pastor Clay Baggatt will merge with Victory Assembly in Hendersonville, TN. Pastor Darin Miller will go on staff at Living to Go as an associate pastor, as the Goodlettsville church will continue to operate as usual.
I am friends with both of these pastors, so I am thrilled to see this occur. Victory Assembly had fallen into difficult times, but they had a great pastor who had remained faithful to his call. Now, the core from Victory will strengthen the thriving Living to Go congregation.
I think church merges are an important church growth model for the future. We’ll discuss this more in this week’s blogs.
