If we’re not humble, Easter can be about us and not Christ.  At CIL, we put an extra focus on our Easter services while maintaining the components that make it a service (in other words, we don’t bring in animals and have stuff that falls from the ceiling).

It was a great Easter for us.  Christ was exalted!   His name was proclaimed highly with boldness and passion!

As we make special preparations for Resurrection Sunday, I kept thinking of the Scripture:

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might
and honor and glory and blessing!” – Revelation 5:12

Jesus is the only worthy one to accomplish God’s will.   He is worth of all our efforts!

The children’s staff who volunteered to serve on a special Sunday.
The band and media team who did extra rehearsals to make the music special.
The volunteers who mowed, painted and cleaned the building.

Jesus is worth it!  Worthy is the lamb!
