In new seasons we can be plagued by old insecurities.

It is easy to shrink back from our true selves due to intimidation and feelings of inferiority. Our lack of confidence can be a form of self-imposed shame. I am inspired by how this verse speaks to a better way:

In you, O Lord, I take refuge; let me never be put to shame.In your righteousness, deliver me and rescue me ... Psalm 71:1-2 (NRSV)
