Dr. Aaron Allison is the Lead Pastor of CIL Church (Christ is Love Church) in Hendersonville, a suburb of Nashville. He and his Beth have served at CIL in that role since 2008. Aaron grew up in Irving, Texas, and has been in vocational ministry since 1995, serving as a children’s pastor, youth pastor, associate pastor, and church planter. He earned a Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) from Union University (Jackson, TN). He also has a Masters of Art in Leadership is from Southeastern University (Lakeland, FL), and a Bachelors in Religion from MidAmerica Nazarene University (Olathe, KS). Aaron is an adjunct instructor at Union University, teaching various courses in the School of Adult and Professional Studies.
Aaron’s positive experiences in different expressions of Christianity have led him to advocate for the Three Streams perspective of church life. The Three Stream perspective strives for participation in the Sacrament, Scripture, and Spirit streams of Christianity.
Aaron and Beth Allison have been married since 1998, and are parents to three young adults.
