A modern day miracle culminated 49 years ago today. On June 10, 1967, the Six-Day War ended, as young and tiny Israel defeated the armies of the Arab world, and claimed Jerusalem.
Though I hate war, sometimes it is necessary in response to aggression. This occurrence demonstrates God’s plan to keep His covenant, and preserve His people. The thriving of Israel today is a sign to you about the promises of God for all His people.

I remember the war well. I was 12 and my teacher was very interested in what was happening and we kept up everyday…we were anxious and worried for Israel…we watched every spare moment and we cheered out loud in class when the war was over and Israel won.
I was only 12 but even then I never doubted that Israel would be victorious…there just wasn’t any other option.
Now I know that Gods beloved will never lose, never be defeated by any enemy. Saturday was Jerusalem Day, the day the establishment of Israel as a free nation is celebrated. The people in blue crowded the streets and the joy was overwhelming.
God will always guard His people…Israel will always be victorious.
